Eden Hoang is a Vietnamese-Australian visual artist based on Bunurong Country, whose practice thoughtfully navigates nostalgia, playfulness, and the celebration of everyday life. Working across ceramics, digital painting and traditional painting, Eden draws deeply from personal narratives and the natural world, aiming to bridge cultures and generations.
Her ceramic work, often functional, reflects a profound connection to material and story. Her understanding of the medium has been shaped by dedicated study, including an intensive pottery course in Seto, Japan, which instilled a deep reverence for natural resources, fire, and technique. She creates pieces that invite tactile engagement and shared experiences. Her work has been well-received at art markets, fostering curiosity, wonder, and connection with her audience.
With a background in landscape architecture, Eden brings a commitment to sustainable practices to her art, celebrating how it fosters love, community, and belonging.
